Swoop it Now offers you the possibility to purchase the product you're interested in at any time during the auction.

We ensure that the products offered for Swoop it Now are available in sufficient amounts, so there is no limit as to how many individuals can decide to take advantage of Swoop it Now.

You should note that the auction will continue as normal for all other users if an individual opts to Swoop it Now, but that individual will not be able to bid on that auction anymore.

A percentage of the purchased or compensation bids you place on an auction are offered as a discount off of the price of the item.

The percentage discount rate varies by auction and is between 1% and 100% of the sale price for the item; you can see this percentage rate in the blue Swoop it Now box on each auction (where it is available). The Swoop it Now percentage discount rate is visible as soon as the 24 hour countdown begins and remains fixed for the duration of each auction.

The Swoop it Now price is only reduced by bidding with 'Compensation Bids' or 'Purchased Bids' obtained using the 'Buy Bids' section of your account. Bid bundles attached to an auctioned item, ‘FreeBids’, auctioned bid bundles or bids placed by telephone do not reduce the Swoop it Now price.

Swoop it Now is not available on every auction, if you see this symbol in the top right hand corner of the auction page then you know that Swoop it Now is not an option for this auction.

The Swoop it Now price can't fall below £0.00, even if the discount rate for the auction is set at 100% and the discounted sum of all bids is more than the price of the item. We will let you know when you have placed enough bids to reach the maximum discount rate on an auction in a pop up information box; you can of course close this pop up box and continue bidding on the auction.
